Località Villamena, Assisi 06081, Umbria, Italia
Villamena Building.jpeg

Villamena is located 3 miles away from Assisi, city of St. Francis, surrounded by the beautiful Umbrian hills. In medieval times, it was named after famous engraver Francesco Villamena (1566-1624), who was born in the surrounding area.

The Covino family inherited the property from the noble Sbaraglini family. The property has remained with the Covino's for the last 700 years. In more recent times they decided to renovate with respect for traditional materials, not affecting old village charm and in harmony with the surrounding countryside.
